This has been one of my favorite classes. Every day I looked forward to our next project. I liked all of our projects but some were more fun than others. My overall favorite was our tempera painting. My second favorite was the photo editing project. I also like out collage project. I did not like the posterizing project. This semester I have learned how to paint, because I have never done it before. I enjoyed working with tempera paints, and pictures this year. Next year, I want to do more with paintings, and drawings. I am hoping to take 3D art next year. I can't wait for next year's art class.

My master painting was a painting made by Piet Mondrian. This is his most famous painting. I am glad about how well it turned out, but I wish I had painted it instead of drawing it with permanent markers.

This is my multimedia project. I made it by tracing a circle for the planet, and painting it blue. I copied a picture of the Earth's surface, and glued it to the paint. I then printed out a bunch of pictures of stars an cut them to fit the paper. I really like how it turned, but I wish I used green instead of orange.

Non objective

This is a non objective painting of the US flag, but instead of stars, I tried to paint a galaxy. I liked how I did the stripes, but it was hard to make the stars and galaxy.

This is my surrealism painting. It is a bunch of black and white trains flying through space, and entering and leaving portals. I like the way I painted the portals, but I could have added more detail to the trains.

Pointillism painting

I painted a barrel, steel sword, and steel shield from Skyrim. This is my favorite project so far. I did a good job texturing the wood, and the steel. I could have matched the brown paint on the right side of the wall better. I was a little too light.

Square by Square

I drew a lighthouse on a sandy beach. I did not really like this project, because when I was trying to match colors, I screwed up, and it didn't look right. I did like how I shaded the lighthouse.
