Reflection

Over the course of the year, I have been working on numerous projects, some turning out well, some not so well. Some of my favorite projects were the WordArt, Zentangle and watercolor. A few that I didn't like were the posterization project, and the pastel projects. I didn't like the posterization project, because of how I messed up my face's coloring. I didn't like the pastel because I couldn't really get the colors to mix right. This semester I learned how to correctly mix paint for the watercolor painting. Next semester, I want to work more on sketches, and drawing, not paintings. I also want to paint landscapes. I would really enjoy trying to sketch things like trees and pastures. I enjoy sketching more, because i don't have to worry about miking colors right. The only thing I have to worry about is shading. I also like the fact that I can erase.

Posterization Project

I worked on a posterized picture of myself. I think I did Really well on the sectioning of colors, and drawing the face. I think I could have done better on mixing the paint, because my face got too dark.
