We did a watercolor unit, and this was one of my favorite projects. I drew a sea cliff in a storm. At first I had no idea what to draw, and them I spilled some paint on my paper. I turned it into water, and then drew the cliff coming out of it. I added storm clouds to fill in the background space. I think I did really well with texturing the cliff, but I could have done better when texturing the cloud.

I read an article about the Occupy Wall Street protestors. It talked about police officers removing people from the park, which the protesters basically destroyed. If I were the mayor of New York city, I would force the protestors to disband. They are a public menace, and if they don't leave, use tear gas. These people are crazy Communist left wings who have no idea what their goals really mean. Really, you want the richest people in the world, who provide a lot of jobs, and usually worked very hard to get where they are, and they want those people to be the ones that are so heavily taxed, that middle class people don't have to pay anything. Maybe if these morons weren't out in the streets yelling, chanting and pooping in parks, they could get some real work done, and help the "99%".

This is an oil pastel of os some pumpkins and leaves. It is not one of my favorite pictures. I could have done better at blending and shading, and lightening certain areas. I didn't like anything about this project.

This is one of my favorite art projects. It was kind of abstract, but it kind of wasn't. It is a picture of overlapping hands, and I colored it so that the same colors would only meet in corners, and II would change the colors depending on how may layers of hands there were. I think I could have been more precise with my lines, and not have made them so jaggedly. I enjoyed trying to find the patterns in the colors.

I just began to read the Hunger Games. It is a weird book. It sounds like some post-apoclyptic civilization. At some point, some colonies must have rebelled, and their capitol was angry. Now every year, they make two teenagers from each colony fight to the death in order to repay for them for the rebellion. The last person standing's colony gets lots of lavish comforts. The main character's 12 year old sister was chosen.
