Scratch board art

This is a scratch board art project of my dad wearing sunglasses. I learned ho to take away the lighter pats, and leave the shaded areas. I think I did a good job on shading the shirt, but I could have done better shading his face.

This is a picture of a dam near where I live. I chose pointillism to design this picture, because I thought it would be easiest to design water with it. I learned how easy it is to shade things with pointillism. I enjoyed making the trees in the background, and making the water look realistic. The shading on the far side of the dam.

This was a fun art project, and I thought I did pretty well. If I had a little more time, I would have perfected some of the shading on the cloth. I didn't want to shade any of the objects, because without shading, it made them stand out, and look cool.
